Resolved Question: Is Traxxas worth the extra money?

I'm looking for my 1st nitro truck. So far I like the Traxxas Slayer PRO 4x4 but its about $500. I'm also looking at RedCat Racing's Aftershock 3.5 for about $300. I seen Youtube vids of the Aftershock being abused and surviving so I feel its a good quality truck that can take a beating. I can't however find any vids or reviews on Traxxas's quality. Are they tough enough to survive a beating? I want to buy the Slayer but the aftershock looks so tempting. I'm not a fan of the aftershock's low profile either. I blame Tv. Tv shows us models and attractive people constantly to gain our attention. And tv has set alot of people up with unrealistic exceptions. I Personally feel that on a scale of 1 through 10 , no one goes pass a 6. And for you to consider a person past a 6 , it depends on your personal presences, suck as your type and what races, ur into etc (Question 1: do you agree with that statement?) so many people post pics asking others opinon of them and if there cute. Resolved Question: Which car should i buy?

I'm overseas and getting a devorce with my wife. I'm almost halfway through my tour and i decided that i want to get a car since i wont have to pay many bills til i get out. My 3 choices are F150-which is what i currently own, but a 97, i love it. Dodge Carger or Dodge Challenger. Now i'm not very intelligent when it comes to motors and what everythign means. I do know that SRT 8 is the top model for the charger and challenger. I want something thats gonna have some rumble when i hit the gas, but i'm not going to be using it for racing. My problem is, If i get a muscle car, what should i get thats a good price without having a normal Sedan with a Musclecar Body? or should i just get the truck? I have many discount options, so pricing will scale, i'm more concerned if its worth buying the lower stock or the higher end stock or even in the middle of the 2

I am having strange problem with Race Driver Grid on my laptop. It launches normally but when the game starts, a black screen appears and nothing else.
